From the makers of EON.

Leading the band, and one of Australia’s foremost exponents of Acid Jazz and Urban Groove,
Saxophonist Rick Robertson has a wealth of experience and success being one of the founding members of D.I.G and Eon. He has played all over the world at major festivals, from the St Kilda festival in Melbourne to the Mentreux Jazz festival in Switzerland, and funky clubs from New York to Berlin.
Ian Mussington Originally from London, where he worked with the likes of Lonnie Liston Smith, Cameo, Stevie Winwood, Courtney Pine, Paul Weller and Steve Williamson, drummer Ian Mussington spent the last five years in the States touring and recording with Soul Asylum. He now resides in Sydney and is laying down wicked beats with a truly international flavour.

Gerard Masters is one of the finest and most innovative young Keyboard players in the Sydney scene. International tours with Missy Higgins and regular gigs with Glass, Virna Sanzone, Lily Dior and his own trio make him a very sort after artist.

Evelyn Duprai is a true soul diva who has emerged on the scene in style bringing her amazing Aretha Franklin meets Grace Jones vocals to set the place on fire. She has toured with Silverchair and James Morrison. She currently tours with James Morrison.

Alex Hewetson, commonly known as G.O.B (god of bass), has toured and recorded with many great acts including Savage Garden, James Morrison, Swoop and DIG. His grooves have been heard all over the world and we are very lucky to have this man in town.

Eon Beats Project was formed to play the Sydney club scene and was immediately in demand with a residency at Bennelong at the Opera House, festivals all over Australia including St Kilda Festival, Darling Harbour Jazz Festival, Vibes on a Summers Day and the Playground Weekender 2009. Residencies Thursdays at the Slip Inn and Sundays at the Home Bar has really developed the band into something unique to the with the release of “Blue Rhythm People” a new album (the 5th) of original material featuring Evelyn Duprai on vocals and the wicked beats of Ian Mussington on Drums. Sold out gigs at the Basement in Sydney, featured spots at the Darling Harbour Jazz Festival, and the release of “Blue Rhythm People” late 2008 have propelled this band well into 2009.

Eon Beats now regularly performs with 8 or 9 musicians onstage featuring Percussion, DJ, and Horn section.
