Doris Day and Dusty Springfield are, without question, two of the most famous female singing icons ever. Their music lives on to this day enjoyed by many in different cultures and age groups. The two share many similarities – both became extremely famous and had the world at their feet but, unfortunately, neither of the two of them could find happiness. The show meanders through their lives featuring songs that were significant to them; the likes of “Sentimental Journey” which was Doris Day’s first recording to “Que Sera Sera” featured in the Alfred Hitchcock film “The Man who knew too much”, to Dusty’s chart topping songs “I only wanna be with you” and “Son of a Preacher” with many more. 

The tribute show is fronted by an amazing vocalist who always entertains her audience with warmth and a personal style that makes every audience feel relaxed and accompanied on stage by some of Perth’s well known musicians. Together this ensemble presents a fantastic sound and are totally crowd pleasers. They have many years of experience between them and have played at all the regular jazz haunts eg The Ellington Jazz Club, The Laneway Lounge, Jazz Fremantle, Jazz Club of WA as well as many private bookings at various outlets around Perth. They have a regular booking at Luciolis in Claremont, Little Creatures in Fremantle, The Opal Bar in Vic Park and on the Perth Decoy Paddle Steamer. Although their feet are place firmly in the jazz genre this ensemble have a wide variety of music ranging from ambience to dance to showtime.  

 

This is a show not to be missed – its fun, its informative and the music is….well…..music to your ears!

 

Available in 4 piece, 5 piece and 6 piece band for special occasions, venues, corporate events, weddings, cocktail parties etc…
