With a knack for Catchy memorable melodies and smart, meaningful, relate-able lyrics, Brisbane based musician Scotty Mac (Born - Scott Jason MacFarlane d.o.b 3/sep/1990) is always in full force when he performs, and when he records. He not only writes his own songs, but also Produces, records/engineers all his own music right at home playing all the instruments and singing all the vocals. Scott performs around the Brisbane scene 4 or 5 times a month, and is on a mission to write many meaningful songs that all folks can relate to. Scotty's overall sound has been described as a great blend of modern acoustic pop such as Ed Sheeran, blended with beatlesque alternative music like 90's band Sloan, and with just a hint of country pop. Scotty prides himself on having the ability to write songs that could please both a young and old audience. The tunes have those modern catchy pop aspects, yet you cannot deny the glistening harmonies and guitar tones reminiscent of the dazzling sixties!
